Jace, Clary, Isabelle- need I explain?
Alec- Nicholas Hoult. Why? He looks the part. He’s a lovely Brit. And he has this awkward, quirky edge that, whenever I envision Alec, is completely and totally present.
Simon- Xavier Samuel. Now, I push Logan Lerman into this part as much as anyone else, but I’ve come to accept that he will simply be far too busy. *lecries* But I think that Xavier would be fabulous, too.
Jonathan- Alexander Ludwig. Why? CATO. In my mind it works.
Valentine- Paul Bettany. And, no, not just because he played Lily’s uncle -(spoiler)father in Priest. He’s got that white blonde hair, those cold expressions, a slight accent….*shivers* pure perfection.
Jocelyn- Bryce Dallas Howard. I feel like she looks similar enough to Lily to pass as her mother, and she’s a brilliant actress. She might be a bit young, but she’s also a mom, too —extra mum points.
Luke- Timothy Olyphant. Granted, he might look older than both Paul and Bryce, and Luke, Jocelyn, and Valentine were very close in age —but I imagine that, with his rougher walk of life, Luke would look a little more aged than his peers. He didn’t have it easy (neither did they!).
